DIY – Photography Light Box – For your Model Railroading Photos

WATCH IN 1080pHD!!!
In this week’s video I show you how to make a DIY (Do It Yourself) Photography Light Box to help you improve your model railroading photographs.

I didn’t get the concrete facility video completed this week as the joint compound used for the roads was not dry in time to do any work on it.

Follow along as I build my n-scale Norfolk Southern/CSX model railroad based in western North Carolina.

  1. Walter – Sadly I do not own a lens that will get that close, or as close as I would like any ways. I just used my iPhone for this. I then bring it into photoshop and clean it up a hair. I would love to have a macro lens or some extension tubes for my photos. Also I need to get to more lights to really get the full effect of the high key sweep, but for now it'll do.

  2. I love the idea! But…using a utility knife on the carpet without something between the carpet and what you're cutting is a good way to destroy your carpet and lead to an expensive fix.
